Don’t you want the acceptance of your father? The glory of Gondor? It’s no use to be second fiddle- you are a Gondorian, true and honorable, dedicated to your country and your father. You need only bring these hobbits to your father and you will forever be remembered as the Steward’s son that succeeded.

And don’t you like the sound of success? Don’t you desire Gondor to be beautiful with its ancient wisdom and magnificence. 

Claim me and you will overpower the enemy, win renown and we will all remember you. Be the best and not fall to second best.
